Here’s a little more about Dave:

Dave joined the team this summer, bringing with him a wealth of experience gained from two decades in various administration roles across multiple sectors.

In his new role, Dave will be instrumental in expanding the association’s network of members, maintaining the member database, and handling other key administrative tasks

I always like helping people, so I’m really enjoying the part of my job where I get to explain the many benefits of joining the Craft Bakers Association to potential new members.

“It’s great to help people see how we can make their lives easier by providing them with a range of benefits, including access to business-critical services such as expert advice on HR, employment law, health and food safety, and discounted online training.”

While Dave is not a baker himself, he is deeply impressed by the artistry employed by professionals in the baking industry.

He said: “I really appreciate the skill and artistry involved in making bread, cakes, and other baked products.

“There are so many things I enjoy buying from bakeries. I’m a fan of fresh loaves and baguettes, and when it comes to cakes, chocolate cake is always my favourite.”

Outside of work, Dave plays another fulfilling role as a father to his eight-year-old son, with whom he loves spending his free time. He also enjoys watching films and following football and basketball.
