Lucas is a second-generation German Master Baker and Founder of Fussnegger Ltd. Having grown up in his family’s bakery, it really is true to say baking is all he has ever known! Since relocating to the UK in 2015, Lucas discovered he enjoyed the technical side to baking which led to some exciting roles. One of his career highlights was creating Collection Sourdough for M&S and featuring on their show ‘Inside M&S at Christmas’. In 2023 he fulfilled his dream of establishing his own bakery consultancy business collaborating with industry partners within the different sectors to offer expertise and knowledge. Following his term as President of the ABST, Lucas is now focused on inspiring and supporting the next generation of bakers as Chair of the Future Bakers Council. Lucas is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and help shape the future of our industry.
