Congratulations to Plaxtol, September member of the month, who have demonstrated their exceptional commitment to the craft baking industry, the CBA and to the wider community.
Plaxtol has been a part of the Kent landscape for more than 60 years.
With over 50 staff members, the organisation is split between its main manufacturing base in East Peckham, Tonbridge, and its two shops in Borough Green and Tonbridge.
As wholesale bakers and confectioners, Plaxtol produces an exciting range featuring their ever-popular white farmhouse loaf alongside the in-demand jam doughnuts and yum-yums.
In addition to the shops, Plaxtol also caters for functions offering a range of different platters.
Customers are kept up to date with the latest products on offer through the active social media platforms, managed by office assistant Scarlett Goad, who has helped attract more than a thousand followers.
They are treated to news about what is available in the shops, including the recently introduced raspberry jam and coconut sponge, developed thanks to a customer recommendation. Themed cakes are available for special occasions and events like the Euros and the Olympics have inspired specially designed cupcakes.
Everyone at Plaxtol, from the highly skilled and trained bakers, to the friendly shop staff and courteous drivers, plays a part in the success of the business.
