Shirley has been involved in the baking industry for over 40 years, Shirley is the owner of Peters Home Made Bakery in Fallowfield and continues to bake daily in her business. Shirley was one of the first board directors when the CBA became a Company Limited by Guarantee and has been a board director for more than 20 years. Shirley was the first female National President and continues her support of the CBA and its members as Deputy Chairman and current Chairman of the Benevolent and Education Fund. Shirley’s objective is to ensure the longevity of the association and encourage and support trainees and apprentices within the baking industry who are of course, the future of baking.
